Be A Better Flirt!
Some people are natural flirts - they find it easy and can
have fun without getting in over their heads. Here are ten easy
steps to help break the ice and make the most of your natural
charm.
Smile
It's contagious. Smiling makes you so much more approachable.
A smile lights up your face and draws people to you.
Compliment
Compliment whoever you are flirting with. The best compliments
have an element of surprise. The "flirtee" will know
that you really noticed them. Remember, your compliments must
be honest, sincere and genuine. When you receive a compliment,
the best response is a simple "Thank you!"
Eye contact
Make eye contact, but please look your partner in the eye gently
(no more than a few seconds) and then glance away. Don't stare
-- it's a turn off, and they may think they have something stuck
to their chin.
Listen
You have two ears and one mouth because you should listen twice
as much as you speak. Listening is a true art. Everyone loves
to be heard.
Make the first move
Move closer to the person you want to meet. Say hello.
Be the host
Change your behaviour from guest to host. You are not a passive
person waiting around for romance; instead, you're the welcome
committee.
Use props
Never leave home without a prop. Props are natural conversation
starters. They encourage conversation and others will be compelled
to start talking to you. Great park props include dogs and kids
(it looks especially endearing if you're playing with a nephew
or neice), while unusual jewelry or a fabulous scent are perfect
for night time flirting. Props to avoid include ties featuring
cartoon characters, 'intersting' hats and stuffed animals.
Have fun
Be playful, light-hearted and spontaneous. Laugh - it's one
of the sexiest sounds on earth. Show your vulnerability.
Start a conversation
Without a doubt, the best opening line is simply saying hello.
Flirting is an attitude
A good flirt is self-confident and not afraid to take risks.
Be positive - it works!
